Although we are still finalizing some of our events, we are pleased to announce that the Sculpture in the Park exhibit will return from June 22 to September 3 in Cate and Clark Parks. Also, on July 14 we will present international recording artist Carrie Newcomer at Anderson Hall. On July 28 storyteller Diane Edgecomb and Celtic harpist Margot Chamberlain will present “Midsummer Magic,” an event for all ages in Cate Park at 10am followed by a workshop. Arts on the Edge Wolfeboro will also have it’s annual poetry day on August 22 at The Pinkney Boathouse, and will feature workshops and readings with poets Robert Cording, professor at College of the Holy Cross, and Betsy Sholls, former Maine Poet Laureate. The theme of the day will be “Poetry and the Social Conscience.” On September 1, multi-faceted concert performer, songwriter, recording artist and musical entrepreneur, Kimball Gallagher will bring his 88 Key Concert Tour to Anderson Hall at 7pm. Arts on the Edge Wolfeboro will also have it’s annual poetry day in early August and will feature workshops and readings with poets Robert Cording, professor at College of the Holy Cross, and Betsy Sholls, former Maine Poet Laureate.
