Summer 2013
Arts on the Edge Wolfeboro will be presenting the annual Sculptures in the Park exhibit in Cate Park from June 28 through Labor Day. This year’s exhibit, entitled “Games People Play,” features works by students at Plymouth State University. Don’t miss these fun sculptures with a toy theme. They are sure to bring a smile to your face!
Arts on the Edge Wolfeboro is also pleased to announce another collaboration with local favorite rock group, The Traveling Wolfeburys, live in concert at Cate Park on Friday, July 5 at 7pm. Musicians from The Folk Cellar present good old rock ‘n roll in an upbeat, fun way!
Our 4th annual poetry event will be held on Monday, August 19 at The Pinckney Boathouse at Brewster Academy beginning at 9:00am. This year’s theme is “Tearing Down and Building Up” and features Maine poets Gibson Fay-LeBlanc and Arielle Greenberg. Each will read their poetry as well as present a workshop. Gibson’s workshop will be entitled “Tear it Down: Radical revision and reconstruction” and Arielle’s is “Building the Contemporary Spiritual Poem.” Check back for more information on all of these events.
